OBJECTIVES
Central Ohio Kennel Club (COKC) was recognized as a Centennial Club by the AKC in 2022. We have gone through many changes over the years, including membership growth. We have members who’ve been with the club for over 30 years, and we continue to add several new members each year.
The mission of the Club is to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs; to conduct dog shows, obedience trials, and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club. If you’re interested in joining the COKC, check out our Membership Info page and there is a link to our application at the bottom of that page. Our Calendar of Events will let you know what upcoming meetings we are having and where they will be held. Note that you must attend a general meeting before you can apply for membership.
Besides hosting two all-breed dog shows annually, we also incorporate seminars with several of our general meetings throughout the year. Be sure and check our Calendar of Events to see what upcoming seminars we have scheduled at future meetings.
Posts and comments to advertise businesses/products are not permitted. If you wish to be a vendor at one of our shows, please contact our Vendor Chair for more information.
INTERESTED IN JOINING?
Those interested in becoming COKC members should attend a member meeting where they can fill out an application. Once applicants have attended three consecutive meetings the membership will vote on acceptance. We encourage guests to take a look at the schedule below and join us for a meeting!
